Bubbles & Beauties 2017
Bubbles & Beauties 2017 was again held at the beautiful Brisbane City Hall. This event was vital in raising much needed funds. Without these funds we simply could not continue to offer our programs. George & King launched their fundraising campaign last year in the hope to raise much needed stock for the charity. Since then they are pleased to announce that over one hundred suits have been donated as part of the ongoing offer of receiving $100 off a new custom suit when a donation of an old one is made.
This year along with the launch of George & King’s Menswear Concierge Club the company are pleased to announce a new campaign.
Welcome to Mr Trevor Evans MP
Suited to Success welcomed Mr Trevor Evans MP for a site tour and to learn about how we are helping men, women and youth gain confidence in overcoming their barriers to employment. With so many people facing hardship, homelessness, mental health, substance abuse or self-esteem issues because of unemployment it is vital that community services like ours continue to operate.
Mr Evans toured our Men's and Women's boutique where we provide interview appropriate clothes to clients and our training and consultation rooms where we provide job, interview and wellness sessions. Mr Evans was also able to see in action our pre-loved boutique operation which is run by long term unemployed men and women on work placements who are looking to improve their employability skills.
